The "Temperature Rising Index for Pathways" platform was established by Common Wealth Magazine in 2022. It follows the concept of scientifically based reduction and uses internationally recognized standards and methodologies to inventory the carbon reduction goals of Taiwanese companies. It is the only platform in Taiwan that echoes the Paris Agreement. The platform divides the temperature levels into five levels: "Excellent ", "Good", "Average", "Fair" and "Poor". At present, nearly 1,000 companies have been disclosed, and only 20% of the companies got the level of "excellent" that meet the temperature control goals of the "Paris Agreement". Simplo Technology and AES-KY are both on the list.
Simplo Technology Group has set a clear carbon reduction pathway and formulated short, medium and long-term plans accordingly. In addition to leading the industry in passing the Science-Based Targets (SBTi) validation, the Group set Carbon 2030 Scope 1, 2, and 3 carbon reduction targets, and has also joined the RE100 initiative, aiming to use 100% renewable energy in its global operations by 2040.
